Our classrooms have a commonality about them. As you walk into them you will see a set of classroom promises that grew from a number of circle time activities, where the children discussed what they wanted the rooms to feel like. At the heart of these promises is respect, responsibility and honesty.
At St John's we want all children to feel they can succeed, so each classroom is set up to be as inclusive as possible. There is a key word wall, hundred squares, help boxes, clearly labelled resources, quiet areas and bright and colourful displays. All of which enhance the learning environment for all children.

Each day we have fresh fruit at snack time.
It can be apples, bananas, pears and carrots
and sometimes it is strawberries, peas and
baby cucumbers which we all love! |

Each class has a bin for us to put all our used paper in, this helps us to understand about recycling.

Outside all our classrooms we have a chest in which On each of our tables we have a help box. Inside we put our lunch boxes, it stops them getting lost we put our pencils, rubbers and colouring
